"Experience the art of traditional Salish smoked fish at Sparrow Traditional Smoke House. In this hands-on, one-day class, participants will learn the ancestral knowledge passed down from generation to generation about sustainable food practices. Fish will be harvested from the waterways of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, and prepared under the guidance of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm Elder Martin Sparrow, who was taught by his late grandmother and father Lyle Sparrow. Join us this fall and immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of the Musqueam Nation."
